Hello, Perhaps this is somewhere else but haven't found it yet...

If someone leaves early how do I record that - in holiday i can only do things daily not hourly or part daily and the accrual is not affected? same in sick pay (i understand that SSP only is affected by full days) Is the only way to do it to allocate it as unpaid leave and reduce months hours accordingly? This is causing difficulty especially with our recording which we are having to do seperately.

It depends what type of employees you have.

If they are salaried staff, with a fixed payroll entitlement where you record holiday absences on the employee absences tab we only allow holidays to be full or half days.

If they are hourly paid workers accruing holiday @12.1% (or similar) of hours worked, then you record the number of holiday hours that you pay them under the "Holiday Pay" payment code. For that type of worker days off on the absence tab are less relevant.
