Is there any way to reprint a P45 that has been submitted online? I tried but the program simply told me it has been submitted already.

Tony, Go to the employee and click their "P45" button, but before you click it hold the shift key on the keyboard down, and keep it held down until the report appears. You should not do this if the employee has already been given a copy of the P45.

Hi

Do you have to use HM supplied p45's? Isn't 12Pay able to print the entire document including headings etc as well as the data, that is suitable to give the employee?

(We don't make the rules...) We're only allowed to print P45 with background text if you file the P45 online first using the software. You can do this using "Reports/Internet Movements" from the payroll form.

Call up the "Internet Movements" form from the payroll form and click the "File Movements" button. The starters to be filed are in the top half, and the leavers are in the bottom half. You can prevent any from being filed by clicking the "Exclude" tick box (if for example you've already filed them manually).

Once you've filed them from that form when you request a p45 from the employee form it will be the type that doesn't need stationery.
