Hi,

I have received a letter this morning from HMRC advising me to operate the code NT for one of my employees.

HMRC clearly state that we are not to refund any tax.

I have entered the code NT in my employees tax code box, calculated this weeks pay and found that it has refunded all his tax paid so far this financial year.

Is there anything I can do to stop the rebate.

thanks

BCMadden

Wow! I don't think I've ever come across a flesh and blood "NT" before.

To prevent any tax refunds tick the Week 1 button next to the tax code.

Put this through this morning and it worked fine.
