Hi

My staff have asked me to query their hours on their payslips. If for instance I put in that they have done 24 hours 30 mins, I put 24.30. They are saying that they haven't been paid for a full 30 mins and it has calculated a percentage of the hour. Do you understand what they mean please? If they are correct how do I put it right?

Catherine 24:30 hours is 24.5 hours (and eg :15 is .25 and :45 is .75)

The simples fix for the half-hour employees is to pay them .2 hours extra in the next pay run. (eg if they work 25 hours pay them for 25.2, or if they work 25.5 hours pay them for 25.7)
