I rolled on to the 2010 tax year and the month 1 employees have become cumulative as expected but the tax codes haven't rolled on by 44.

It's not a massive problem as I'm not bothered about changing them manually but just wondered if there's an issue.

I'm running version 1.4.5,  in a another thread about an unrelated problem you released a version 1.4.6 for that indivudual. Would it be ill advised for others of us to adopt it too?

Tax codes didn't alter for you automatically because you installed 1.4.5 after moving into 2010. It is the act of rolling over that updates the tax codes, not the act of installing 1.4.5. To get automatic tax code update you should have installed 1.4.5 before completing 2009.

1.4.6 solves a couple of highly specific and rare problems that affect a tiny minority of sites. Download and use it if you want to, there is no great downside, but for 99.9% of users there is no particular point in doing so.

Thanks for the reply. I know it's rolling over that updates tax codes as opposed to installing new software, my fault for not installing 1.4.5 before.

Anyway, I just checked and I downloaded Version 1.4.5 on 27th March and I would have processed the Payroll on the 24th and rolled it on immediately to get the P32. This backs up your reply.

As I do monthly backups before rolling on I just restored Month 12 and rolled on again which has correctly updated all my employees.

Thanks again for the great support.

Sorry to post again but thought this deserved a new post in the thread.

Whilst the tax codes have all rolled on OK, this time the Month 1 employees didn't revert to cumulative. No problem at all as I've already unticked them but thought I'd just raise it.

Thanks again.

Edit:

SCRUB THE ABOVE

Just clicked the red box to run year end and realised it would have dealt with the Month 1 Employees. Sorry.
