Hello, I hope you can help me.

I upgraded to latest version on 12Pay in September but haven't been able to access the program since then. This is the problem:

When I click on the 12Pay shortcut I get the message 'There are no employers in your "recently used" list but there is one employer file in your payroll data folder. This can happen if you upgrate to a new version of the 12Pay software. Would you like to add the employer files in your payroll data folder to your "recently used" list?

I click 'Yes' and a 'Select Employer' box opens so I double-click on my Employer Name.

I then get an error message 'Could not find the file 'C:\Program Files\12PayPayroll\Master123Pay.pay'.

Could you tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Many thanks,

Juliet

Hello, I can't quite make sense of your problem. The individual sentences make sense but the whole narrative doesn't so I must be misunderstanding exactly what you're doing and seeing. Probably it will be easiest if you give us a call on 0118 9546817, or if you email support@12pay.co.uk with a phone number and a convenient time to call you.

You'd need to have the PC in front of you when we try and talk you through a solution... Look forward to talking to you. If you need to talk out of business hours let us know when that would be convenient too.

EDIT: Actually one explanation has just struck me for the effect that you're seeing. It is as if you've installed the update software in a different place from the original software but you're still running the original software. That would cause the kind of thing that you're seeing.

Hi, I'm having the same problem as described below (I've just downloaded 1.5.4). The software did find a file, but it was an old one (
dated 2008). I'll email support with our phone number.
