Recently had to install various .net's for various program errors - so have just reinstalled v1.1, 2.0 (sp2) and 3.5.
Now getting above error message when trying to open 12Pay.
Have uninstalled and re-installed, tried a repair, all without success.
HELP, please!

Hello, This sounds like the kind of error that you would get if .NET Framework 2.0 is damaged in some way. I've also seen suggestions (googling the 0xD0000135 error message) that this error can appear on a machine that has been attacked by a virus.

I'd try completely removing the .NET Framework 2.0 (use remove in the control panel manager), then putting it back again.

If you have difficulty removing and re-installing the .NET Framework this page may help:

Another user who recently had difficulties starting the software up got their problems to go away with those instructions.

FANTASIC, THANK YOU!

Uninstalled via remove programs - was using a .net cleaner utility previously
Installed .net 2.0
Installed .net 2.0 SP2

and away we go again!

Interestingly, when I tried to remove, it said it had failed, could not remove but i restarted and it was no longer available.

FAB, THANK YOU!

Great to know that you're up and running again.

The only disturbing issue (from our point of view) is that you're the 4th user in a fortnight to need the .NET 2.0 framework repairing. Usually we have to help a user do this about 4 times a year. It makes us worried that something out there, "Microsoft Update, anyone?" is damaging .NET 2.0 on some PCs.
