I'm trying to install 12 PAy on my new laptop with windows 7 and even though I've turned all of my security settings off, it keeps coming up with the box that says that my security settings won't allow me to download this software. HELP!

This is an odd quirk of Windows 7 that we've seen with other software too, not just 12Pay. We don't understand why it happens; some applications do the same thing to us on our PCs, but 12Pay doesn't!

Anyway, the solution is to right-click on the installer package when you've downloaded it, and select, "Run As Administrator". Bizarrely you seem to need to do this sometimes even when you are already logged in as the administrator, and even when you've tried to turn all the security settings off.

Apart from this quirk we really like Windows 7.

Thanks but it won't let me download it in the first place to do this. I've tried contacting microsoft, but they're useless!

Apologies, I misread your post, and thought that you were having difficulty running it after downloading it.

Hmm, I'm not sure what could be causing that. Maybe an internet explorer setting. What is the *exact* text of the message that you get when you click the link. I wonder if googling that exact message might shed light on the solution.

Thanks for the help. I'd bought an ex-display model and had to restore my advanced settings to default.
